Web Design vs. Print Design, Part 1: Color
Many people in Indonesia still trust print promotion over the web. Part 1 of this series looks at color, where web design wins hands down.
In a world as modern as ours, web design has become a must-have for companies. Yet plenty of people, especially in Indonesia, still believe print promotion is far more effective than web design. So what's the basic difference between promoting through web design and promoting in print? In this first part of our web design vs. print design series, we'll look at the color advantage web design has.
In print design, the colors you get depend heavily on the printer you use. Sometimes the printout isn't 100% the same as the original design. Better still, if you can make the most of new technology like the Mac's Retina display, you can show visitors pure, vivid color. Amazing, right?
